Cosy 1 bed cottage - Sleeps 4

Beautiful cottage! Positive: Absolutely perfect! Negative: Nothing to be improved, everything was just right.

Lovely location and generally good property, with room for improvement Positive: The cottage was well appointed, with some very nice decorative and original features. The bed was comfortable. The cottage is in a very pleasant and peaceful location. The village church is just up the road and has very pleasing chimes from its bell tower - Not too loud. The village pub is a very short walk away, and has very reasonable prices. Negative: A few things. Firstly confusion over pet friendly or not. Description suggests yes, policies suggest no. We are not pet owners so aren't particularly bothered, but clarity would be nice. Secondly parking. Parking is NOT available on site.There is on street parking very near by and that is subject to availability. If not available parking is at the village hall, roughly a quarter of a mile away. The setee in the living room smells of wet dog. It requires either a very deep clean or replacing. The shower; the gap to enter the shower is very small, so unless you are extremely slim, it's a bit of a squeeze. Also the drain that takes away the water from the shower tray doesn't take it away quick enough so the bathroom floods. Whilst there is nothing wrong with the cooker, you have to get down on your hands and knees to switch it on at the main switch. It is at the back of a very low cupboard. Finally, the garden is a small slabbed area, which is in need of a bit of TLC. The photos show some nice plants in some pots. All of those plants are now dead, because it would appear that no-one could be bothered to water them.

Positive: The 1 bed cottage was well presented, very clean. The air-con was fantastic, so quiet. The bedroom was beautiful with lots of storage and plug sock, easy to get to. Negative: Bring really pedantic, a bin in the bathroom. Extra coasters in the bedroom. Wifi that works. It would have been nice to check out at 11 and not 10 am
