I wanted to be honest with our feedback as we were quite disappointed overall. The weather was absolutely fabulous during our stay, but unfortunately the whole back garden area really wasn’t in a position to cater for guests properly. We had hoped to enjoy breakfast and meals outside, however there weren’t even the basic requirements such as a proper table and seating area for everyone to sit around comfortably. The grass looked dead, unkempt and as though it hadn’t been touched in quite some time. You were very quick to ask for extra money for the hot tub, which we paid, but there was no privacy at all as it was completely open to neighbouring properties. A gazebo, screening or even a large umbrella would have made a huge difference as we felt quite uncomfortable using it. The stools outside were very rickety and didn’t feel safe to sit on in case they collapsed, and overall there was nowhere comfortable to relax outdoors despite the high temperatures. Considering we paid a considerable amount of money for just two days, it was disappointing to feel stuck indoors most of the time. I do think the property has potential, but the garden area really needs investment and attention, even just covering the basics such as cutting the grass, improving the seating and creating a more welcoming outdoor space for guests.
